NYFW Katie Gallagher Fashion Show SS17

All black everything! Katie Gallagher SS17 collection Eclipse is her third all-black collection where light and dark intertwine. The gothic style was balanced by the lightweight fabrics and lace detailing, showing a more whimsical side to this monochromatic collection. The makeup even represented the juxtaposition of day and night with a smokey eye paired with a glittery highlight, giving the models an iridescent glow. The models strutted down the runway one by one, never sharing the stage, which allowed me to carefully examine all 23 looks. There was an elegance to each look as capes, robes, and kimonos billowed behind the models. Overall, Eclipse could not have been a better word to describe the Katie Gallagher SS17 collection. Her collection included everything from everyday staple pieces to outfits for a girl's night out!
